| Location | Most of my life I have spent enjoying the Charlotte area. I grew up here, went to school here and have worked and played here. It seems like a logical place to call home and a logical place to run a business where I can help the people in the area feel better. |
| Background | As for some background info; I have a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Gardner-Webb University 2003. In 2005, I became a Licensed Customs Broker while working at Eagle Global Logistics. 2005 & 2006 were really great years for me physically; I completed 4 Triathlons, numerous running and cycling races and cycled to Myrtle Beach twice with ASAP (Adaptive Sports Adventure Program). Pretty great accomplishments in my mind since I had never ran more than a mile continuously, and like so many people, have struggled with weight & health issues most of my life. |
| Passion | In 2006 I decided that there is more to life than working eight years in a cubicle with imported goods, US Customs, & a 5” thick government regulation manual and decided to attend Southeastern School of Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy. Finally something in life had clicked and the path I was walking felt rewarding! I had found the passion that had eluded me for so long. I became a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist in North Carolina and am also nationally certified. |
| Focus | The focus of my training thus far has included Neuromuscular Therapy, Swedish, Chair, & Sport Massage & Reiki. My training and education has not stopped since I have finished Southeastern however, I am a self proclaimed “lifelong student” and will always take courses to learn new modalities and better the ones I have learned already. My goal is to provide the best treatment for the whole person and education is an important way for me to incorporate the best of what I have learned. |
